Music Lessons in Orange County and Other Areas Can Help Increase School Satisfaction

A child's performance in school can be improved in many ways, and music may be just be one of them. In a news report posted on The British Psychological Society website last September 10, 2013, a new research suggested that extended music education recorded a marked impact on several areas of a child's life. This development shows one of the many advantages music lessons in Orange County and in other areas can yield. “Led by doctoral student Paivi-Sisko Eerola at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland, the investigation included nearly 1,000 pupils across ten Finnish schools at year three and year six. The study involved extended music classes and comparison lessons - and it was shown that while no differences were apparent in year three, there were significant changes for the older age group. “The principal investigator explained that extended music classes often involve singing in a choir or ensemble performance - and people often find it satisfying to synchronise with others.
